This nail cutter is made in Vietnam, but to the same quality standard as Kai's Seki Mago Roku products that are made in Japan. Its special ergonomic design makes it easy and convenient to use, even for people with reduced mobility / dexterity or arthritic finger joints.
Compared to most other nail cutters available in Europe, this Kai nail clipper has very sharp edges that make filing afterwards not strictly required, with a clean look. It still has an integrated nail file feature that's particularly easy to use on this model compared to other Japanese nail cutters that I've tried, due to its large surface area.
Additionally, the plastic shell cuts all nail trimmings inside, making for a clean process. After cutting your nails, you can shake out the plastic shell over a trash can. It can even be removed completely for deep-cleaning.
I personally prefer this model over three other high quality Japanese-made nail clippers that I own, as it's more comfortable to hold and use.
