These screws are made in Japan to the same threading specifications as original Gamecube controller tripoint screws. The only difference is the drive interface, which is PH1 adhering to the current international standard (ISO 8764) instead of the microstix 1 used in all GCC editions until 2008 / microstix 1 wide used only in 2014 Smash White & 2018 Smash Black Gamecube controllers.
They make for a nice upgrade when replacing corroded or worn tripoint screws. They are arguably preferable over torx screws due to being magnetic and locking (when used with compatible screwdrivers; see below), which makes for a faster and less frustrating process of inserting / removing them than the typically non-magnetic and non-locking torx screws.
By following the modern PH1 drive standard, these screws are highly resistant against cam-out when coupled with a screwdriver of the same size and standard. Most quality EU screwdriver manufacturers adhere to the same ISO 8764 standard and are perfectly compatible. Examples sold in this shop: Wiha PicoFinish PH1, Wiha zai Hause screwdriver + bit set (also includes PH0, microstix-1 and torx bits among many others).
Mainly intended for the EU market, where suitable screws for the six GCC shell sockets with ideal threading dimension are difficult and expensive to import (due to the difficulty of obtaining non-Russian origin certificates and other EU bureaucracy).
