Custom Gamecube controller

This listing is intended to make ordering a custom controller from me easier, faster and more streamlined. For highly custom requests, or if you want modifications that are not included in this listing yet, you can still send order requests by sending an email in the format specified on my website, after which I'll write you an invoice accordingly, which can be paid by bank transfer or Wise transfer.

With custom controllers being fully tuned to your specific choices rather than pre-built, it generally takes 1-2 weeks from the order date until I can get your controller finished and shipped. In rare cases under busy times or when certain parts required for your order are out of stock, up to 1 month of processing time might be needed. 
If the expected processing time is more than the standard 2 weeks, I will contact you and ask whether that's fine with you. When I can't get the controller built and shipped within 1 month of the date of order, you can message / email me requesting a full refund (which is always granted unless the controller is already halfway done). 

Front shell options (basic): the regular octagon gate has no modifications.
Sparkplates have the A2a version (straight octants; refer to the diagram below) of my hybrid gate notches, which prioritizes full access to all the different diagonal angles, at the expense of ease and speed of hitting the specific notch angles (min/max wavedash, up-B / air dodge and shield drop angles). Also, Sparkplates have slightly worse fit with the ABXY buttons and the back shell than original front shells. They are a good budget option for trying notches for the first time.
Hand-filed notches are available in different shapes that have different strengths and weaknesses, respectively – shown below. If you are unsure which one to choose, go with A2b. Combinations of the different shapes are also possible (for example, A2a top half / A2b on ESE & WSW / A2c on SSE & SSW, which is usually ideal altogether for Melee). If you want a combination of different notch shapes, please specify that in the "shell options" text input field or as an order comment. All shapes are the same price, regardless of how they are combined.

Front shell notches: optional quality upgrades: By default, I advise going for the "standard" version, which is 50% discounted compared to my list prices but only slightly less perfect in terms of symmetry and finishing (as getting those to be perfect makes the whole process take about twice as long). If budget is less of a concern and you really want the notches to be highly symmetrical and ideally shaped, the higher tier finishing option are still the (slightly) better choice though.

Shell options: If you prefer a certain shell condition, please specify in this field. examples: "as little yellowing as possible" / "fewer scratches or dents, some yellowing is okay". If you want a specific combination of notch shapes (for example, A2a in the top half / A2c in the bottom half – a fairly common request), please write that in this field or as an order comment. If you selected DSDI notches, please specify the character for the DSDI notches to be tuned for here.

ABXYS button options: when you select "transparent slanted & rounded ABXYS buttons with custom color backgrounds", the default backgrounds are: dark blue (XYS) + green (A) + red (B). If you want different colors, please specify in this text input field. All available standard colors are shown in the photo below; from left to right: white, pink, magenta, purple, dark blue, light blue, yellow, red, green.

Additionally, if you want only certain slanted buttons to be inserted (for example, ABXY, with the original start button kept), please also write that in this field.

ABXY PTFE tape centering: With this optional upgrade, I attach thin strips of PTFE tape to the internal side walls of the front shell that the buttons slide along. This stabilizes the buttons, minimizes sideways wobble and also drastically reduces wear on both the buttons and the front shell side walls.
Due to the stock glue of PTFE tape not being strong enough to withstand hand sweat and oils eventually creeping in there and shifting them out of position, I always attach the tape with UV light activated cyanoacrylate, which makes for a reliable long-term connection.
Due to the strips being optimized and tested for the individual button set you chose (including the OEM buttons, if they are selected to be also included), fit with other button sets can't be guaranteed. Also, the process of securely attaching them and testing the fit to be ideal with the smallest amount of play is rather time-consuming, which is why this upgrade is relatively expensive.

Trigger mechanical switch: custom selection: the default mouse click switch is HCNHK black (105gf) and the default keyboard switch is Kailh Navy (68gf). If you prefer different switches, please specify them in this field.

Custom Phob calibration: by default, all notches are tuned to 0.32 offsets, diagonals to 0.70, with the latest PhobGCC software installed (currently 0.31). Snapback is eliminated using negative filters. Waveshaping and other filters are kept at 0 / default values. If you want a specific button remapping or a different stick tuning, please specify so in this field.

C-Pad installation: C-Pad is a mod developed by Rana Labs. It replaces the analog inputs of the C-stick with 4 digital buttons. Due to the lower height of the buttons and the small distance between them, despite the digital nature of the inputs, accidentally inputting a different direction than intended is still possible, though. 
For this reason, I created an optional extension set that makes the top of the buttons a bit higher, more rounded and more flared out, so that the 4 directions can be told apart more easily and are a bit closer to the height of the C-stick, with the tallest point of each button extension being outward from the screw attachment point (see below on the right).
